Lose The Hose
There are many trends coming and going these days so it’s hard to tell what is what without staying glued to a serious magazine subscription and staying on the internet for hours at a time. Fortunately, for us ladies, we can stick with the solid trends quite easily.
One of the trends that has stuck with us for quite a few years now is a reversal from the eighties and nineties. Ten years ago it was quite the norm to see almost every chick in either tights or pantyhose.
Those days are far behind us and the last thing that you want to find yourself covered with is a sticky, itchy pair of pantyhose. They have come and gone and thank goodness for it. Not only do they require a color matching expert, or a systematic shade alignment, to get a color that actually resembles your skin tones, but they are also beyond uncomfortable.
The look of lovely is now dependant on the care that you give your skin. There is nothing sexier than a pair of healthy, shimmering, silky legs. There are so many products out there that you can utilize to create a healthy tan, toned appeal to your legs. Not only can you imitate a glowing tan without harsh rays or tanning beds, but you can also get the beautiful glow all over. The lotions, creams, and gels that are available can be used from head to toe. A year-round tan is now safely possible.
The trick is to find the right shade. If you have a pinkish tint to your skin, generally this tone is found on red heads and girls with freckled skin, choose a shade that is no more than one shade darker than your natural shade. For olive skin tones, generally Asian skin tones for example, go no higher than two shades.
You should know that it is ok to have more than one bronzer product on hand. The point being that if you choose to use tanning lotions it will be ok to also use bronzing powders or make-up that gives a tanning effect (such as bronzing foundation or blushes). This layered effect can be useful for girls with a paler complexion. Have fun with it.
