So many people are truly interested in style and fashion, but they’re afraid of making a horrible mistake that will be remembered as a total fashion blunder. And quite frankly, with some of today’s fashion trends, the potential for fashion disasters is enormous. We’ve all seen how celebrities can be remembered and mocked for years based solely on the wrong fashion choice. While you may not have to worry about photographers and bloggers tracking your every move, there’s something to be said for friends who can remember your unfortunate fashion choices for years.
The first thing you need to do to avoid fashion mistakes is know what looks good on you and how you describe your personal style. Everyone has a unique sense of style that’s associated with their individual personas and it’s this knowledge that will greatly affect your ability to pull off certain styles. Trendy outfits don’t look good on everyone – so it’s good to be aware of which colors and shapes best suit you. Imagine someone with a usually eclectic, funky sense of style and personality trying to pull off a classy pants suit without any additional flair.
